Haikyuu is a manga comedy originating from japan. Haruichi Furudateis the publisher and illustrator who observes the English language.

Haikyuu is an anime with a story of a boy named Shoyo Hinata who has the determination to play volleyball despite a short height.

Its anime television series with 25 episodes and aired between 2014 April and 2015 September

Haikyuu has premiered between 2012 and 2020 July with season 2 premiering for 4 months from 2015 October .25 episodes aired as season 3 with 10 episodes running for 2 months from 2016 October.

Both have a positive response, with manga winning the 61st award in 2017. It was from Shogakukan.

By 2020 November, over 50 million pieces were circulating worldwide.

The fourth season for the anime was announced and hoped to be released in two sets. The first set will be from January to April 2020 with 13 episodes, while the second set will be aired from October to December 2020 with 12 episodes.

THE CAST

Located in Miyagi prefecture, Tohuku region. Karasu means crow nicknamed “flightless crow’ and “fallen champs,” also “country bumpkin crows” by captain Kuroo since they lived in a rural area.

  1. Ayumu Murase as Shoyo Hinata, a first-year student at Karasuno high school who has a passion for volleyball despite being short, wears the same jersey number 10 as “little giant” who was the former Karasuno’s ace and Hinata’s role model. his incredible athleticism makes him trick opponents, thus nicknamed “the greatest decoy.”
  2. Tatsunari Kimura as Tobio Kayagema, famously known as ‘king court” in junior school for his good volleyball skills. He is famous for his accuracy, serves, and game sense. he is polite and kind but has poor skills in expressing himself. In the future, they play together with Hinata in the Japanese national team.
  3. Ryatotaro kasaka as Kei Tsukishima is karasuno’s tallest player, very calm, and a clever blocker forming Krasuno’s defense. He is polite but has a very bad attitude. Currently playing for the Sendal’s local team.
  4. Kairi Miura is Tadashi Yamaguchi, a middle blocker and Karasuno’s spear and pinch server. He is shy but friendly and is very hardworking. Currently working at a home electronics company.
  5. Satoshi Hino as Daichi Sawamura, he Iis the wing spiker of Karasuno’s and a very dependable receiver and is termed the defensive pillar. He is strong-willed and a kind-hearted leader who his teammates fear. Currently, he is a police officer.
  6. Miyo irino, as Koshi Sugawara, is the vice-captain, originally the team’s setter but replaced by Kageyama. He is cheerful and empathetic, though he is nicknamed “scary when he’s mad “ and becomes hostile when irritated. He is currently an elementary school teacher.
  7. Shohei Hashimoto, as Yu Nishinoya, is a defensive specialist in the karasuno’s team and the smallest player in the team. he is very loud and energetic and passionate about his position and is a very powerful player. Currently traveling around the world.

THE PLOT OF HAIKYUU

Haikyuu series is about a boy named Shoyo Hinata, a high school student obsessed with volleyball after watching the Karasuna high school play on Nationals, despite him being short.

He is inspired by Karasuno’s short but talented wing speaker, a commentator and nicknamed “the little giant.”Hinata is athletic and joins the volleyball team to realize that he spends almost two years convincing other students to join the club and help him in practice. Some of his friends finally agreed to join him and the club in the third year to join a tournament.

They were defeated in the first leg and ended up having a grudge with one of the opponents by the nickname “king of the court” due to his skills and the rough way of playing.

Later he studies and joins Karasuna high school, which inspired him to join volleyball, only to realize that Kageyama, the “the king of the court,” was also chosen to join the same school.

Karasuno is depicted to have a history in volleyball thus the name “the wingless crows” since the “little giant’s” era. Combining Kageyama’s and Hinata’s tactics, they make a very good duo with a powerful partnership.

Hinata and Kageyama became friends and their potential; hence, Hinata developed a good relationship with his gamers. They began a journey to return Karasuno’s fame and reputation to make it to the nationals.

CONCLUSION

It is the best animation series and has a high chance of 4th renewal since it received good reviews from the audience. the storyline flows and does not borrow content from somewhere else.
