The early life of Pat Sajak
Pat Sajak’s real name is Patrick Leonard Sajdak, who was born on October 26, 1946, in Chicago city in Illinois. He grew in Chicago with his father and mother, Leonard Antony and Joyce Helen, respectively. Unfortunately, his father passed on when pat was still young, and her mother decided to remarry.
Sajak joined Farragut high school, where he graduated in 1964. Later he was enrolled in Columbia College, found in Chicago, and he was still working as a front desk at palmer hotel.

While still in school, Sajak’s broadcasting instructor informed him that WEDC, a local radio station, needed a news anchor. Sajak tried his luck, and fortunately, he was granted the opportunity to host the 6 am time slot. In 1968, Sajak joined the U.S Army at the time of the Vietnam War. While still working in the army, he used to DJ on armed forces radio.

He stated that Merv went ahead and decided to close the show and refused to release another show until Sajak was employed.
For over 30 years, Sajak has managed to host the daytime and syndicated evening shows of the wheel of fortunes, making him the longest-running host to host game shows worldwide. On March 22, 2019, Guinness world records decided to honour Sajak with the title.
The contract to host the game will be concluded in 2022. Pat has been awarded three Emmys from the show’s host and was also given a star on Hollywood’s walk of fame.
