Joseph James Rogan AKA Joe Rogan was born on August 11, 1967, in New Jersey. His family had moved to Newark, New Jersey, much before his birth, for his grandfather’s wish, in the 1940s. The actor and host is of Irish and Italian descent. Joseph Rogan, the father of Joe Rogan, was a police officer in Newark. His parents separated when he was merely five years of age. Talking about their split and how he didn’t get to see his father after the split, Joe Rogan said, “All I remember of my dad are these brief, violent flashes of domestic violence … But I don’t want to complain about my childhood. Nothing bad ever really happened to me … I don’t hate the guy.”

In 2009, Joe Rogan tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Jessica Ditzel who had been a cocktail waitress by profession. Talking about his marriage to Jessica, Joe asserted, “I had to! Not really had to, but you know, she made a baby. (It’s) like, ‘God, all right, I’ll sign a silly legal contract.’ What she did was way more of a commitment.”

 In 2008 and then in 2010, they became parents to two daughters. Jessica Ditzel also had a daughter from her previous relationship. Her daughter was adopted by Joe Rogan after their marriage.
