Early Life of Hunter Biden
He was born in Wilmington, Delaware, on February 4, 1970, to Neilia Biden(mother) and Joe Biden(father). Hunter Biden is the second born to his parents. Biden lost his mother and younger sister Naomi in an automobile crash on December 18, 1972. He has one blood brother, beau (the elder brother), and a half-sister, Ashley.
He attended catholic high school Archmere Academy in Claymont, Delaware. In 1992 he graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Hunter decided to serve as a Jesuit volunteer at a church in Portland, Oregon, where he met his first wife, Kathleen Buhle.
In 1993 he got married, and Hunter decided to join Georgetown University Law Center for a year and later transferred to Yale Law School and later graduated in 1996.
Hunter Biden’s Career
He started his career at the bank holding company MBNA. In 1998, he rose to the rank of Executive vice president. Hunter Biden later left the company to serve at the United States Department of Commerce until 2001, focusing on e-commerce policy for president Bill Clinton’s administration. He co-founded Oldaker, Biden, and Belair firm after becoming a lobbyist.
In 2006, he was appointed to a five-year term on the board of directors of Amtrak by president George W. Bush. He later resigned in January 2009 after his father became the vice-president.
