Zoo, a show on CBS, is an American drama, thriller, and science fiction television series. The show is based on the novel of the same name written by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge.

About the Show
The series is about animals who are strangely and violently attacking humans all around the world. Jackson Oz, a zoologist, and his team are investigating the pandemic by working together to figure out the reason behind these animal behaviors.
The show is also teaching viewers several survival techniques and has proven to be fun and thoughtful to watch.
Zoo Season 3 Finale Recap
Season 3 has one crisis to another. It left a cliffhanger for the fans. The team was racing to stop the hybrids from breaching the barrier wall. The team shut down the beacon that draws the hybrids in.
Jackson Oz is working to help people evacuate from the Pacific Coast Hybrid zone by using lions. At his command, Jackson controls the lion. On the other hand, Clementine is trying to convince Abraham and Dariela to help her find her father, Mitch. Jackson also finds out that the father of Clementine’s baby, Sam, is him.
Mitch wants her daughter to be far away from the chaos while he executes his plan. Now, the hybrids started to attack the barrier. Jackson finds out that the beacon is operating at a frequency and finds a way to shut it down without him getting killed.
The last episode had lots of deaths and casualties. Logan sacrificed himself for Abigail to keep her safe. Jackson almost died getting the beacon. Also, Troy’s dog died and turned into a hybrid zombie dog. Then, Clementine returned to the team and informed them about Abigail and the child. Furthermore, Abigail and Jackson had some talk where Jackson had to decide as he was desperate to get the baby back. He was even willing to go against as the team had planned.
The season 3 finale has moving moments, freaky and crazy moments as well. The finale has entertained a lot of fans and had them engrossed from start to finish. It ended with a cliffhanger which fans hoped for more in season 4.
Zoo Season 4 Plot
Season 4 would revolve around Jackson and his team trying to stop the hybrids and on a quest to also stop the creator. The team researches to investigate the animal’s behavior.
The human population is still diminishing thanks to sterility issues. The creator of this threat is still determined to wipe off the human population and thus created a hybrid. Over the last ten years, Jackson and his team are alienated from each other. They are trying to get past their differences after learning Mitch is alive. The team is planning to stop the hybrids and the creator. The creator is someone connected to their past.

As for the characters for the next season, we might see again the main cast and maybe some supporting characters. Whoever appears in the 4th season will depend on the producers, how the story goes, and also if the show is to be renewed for season 4.

Zoo Season 4 Release date
Fans of the show might be hoping or expecting for the next season to come to light, but surprisingly, the CBS network has confirmed that there won’t be a season 4. This cancellation decision is due to the low viewership in the same year after the release of season three. The show has only 2.56 million viewers and got a 0.51 rating which prompted CBS to announce the cancellation for the next season.
