Crash Landing on You is a popular television series belonging to South Korea that was released in 2019 and ever since has been tasting success. It has been listed by several magazines in the list of some of the most popular and successful series that have come out of Korea. 

As the name suggests, the series is based on the romantic love story of a couple, the challenges they face, and how they decide and manage to stick together through all thick and thin. 

The protagonist of the story is a chaebol heiress who goes paragliding in Seoul, South Korea, and gets caught in a storm. The storm takes her to North Korea, where she comes across a Korean army officer who decides to help her. Crash Landing on You is a popular South Television show that is also known as Emergency Love Landing, Love’s Crash Landing, and Crash Landing of Love. It belongs to the genre of Romantic drama and Romantic comedy. It has been created by Studio Dragon and has been written by Park Ji-eun. The show has been helmed by Lee Jung-hyo and it stars Hyun Bin, Son Ye-jin, Kim Jung-hyun, and Seo Ji-hye in important roles.

Plot:

Yoon Se-ri (Son Ye-jin) who is a South Korean chaebol heiress is a woman of beauty and brains. She is one of the most deserving candidates for the Queen’s Group. Her stepbrothers and her stepmother are always threatened by her skills and popularity. She makes distance from the crown and starts her fashion and beauty company, named Se-ri’s Choice which succeeds massively. 

When her father is released from jail, he asks her to take over the Queen’s group. While the formalities are to take place and are in the process, she goes paragliding and gets caught in a storm that takes her to North Korea. There she meets an army officer and falls in love with him, while their countries are preparing for a war against each other.
