The growing popularity of anime has helped boost the popularity of mangas, a form of Japanese literature that is written around characters with mythological references, or superpowers, or even our regular, daily life characters.
One such Manga series is Baki the Grappler, which has had three of its seasons released till now and fans are desperately waiting for its fourth season. The story revolves around Baki who is a teenager and his struggles to train himself in becoming one of the best fighters in hand-to-hand combat, a fight without rules.

The Manga Baki the Grappler has been written by Keisuke Itagaki, and has been published by Akita Shoten. Its English publishers were Gutsoon! Entertainment and Media Do International. It featured in the magazines Weekly Shōnen Champion, and Raijin Comics. The Manga has had five parts released till now, namely Grappler Baki with 42 volumes, Baki with 31 volumes, Baki Hanma with 37 volumes, Baki-Dou with 22 volumes, and Bakidou with 10 volumes.
The anime television series made on the same Manga has been directed by Hitoshi Nanba, and Katsuyoshi Yatabe. It was produced by Hiroyoshi Ōkura, Kenjirō Kawando, and its executive producer was Dynamite Tommy. The series has been written by Atsuhiro Tomioka, its music has been given by project Baki and the studio involved in its production is Group TAC. Plot of the show:
Bound by the hopes of becoming a powerful and ruthless fighter like his father – Yujiro Hanma, Baki Hanma is raised by immense health and wealth and all sorts of necessities by his immensely rich mother – Emi Akezawa who handles all the funds for Baki’s training to make him a powerful fighter.
As the series begins, Baki overpowers traditional training methods of fighting and vows to follow the training path his ruthless father- Yujiro Hanma took. Along the way, he meets numerous strong and powerful fighters and even gets a chance to fight his father but fails to put up a fight against him. After suffering a loss from his immensely strong father, Baki vows to become strong and increase his strength and abilities, and to accomplish so he travels the world while training.
After several years he finds an underground fight club filled with countless fighting beasts who turn out to be way more challenging than any of the opponents he has faced earlier and excel in all sorts of martial art styles. He plans on joining the fight club to improve his martial art skills and become strong to beat his father who he wasn’t able to leave a scratch at during their last bout.

Netflix took to their official page to announce that they were ready to serve the fans with the fourth season of Baki, named Baki Hanma. The fourth season shall be released in 2021 and soon after the announcement, they also released the trailer of the Fourth season.
