Katherine ‘Kady’ Allen graced the world in December 1989 to Tim Allen and his former wife, Laura Deibel. She has a half-sister, Elizabeth Allen Dick, born in March 2009, whom Kady is very close with. In addition, Katherine Allen is very close with her stepmother, Jane Hajduk, and even attended the Toy Story 4 premiere in 2019 alongside them.

Kady’s Father
Tim Allen was born on 13th June 1953 in Denver, Colorado, to Gerald M. Dick, a real estate agent, and Martha Katherine, a community-service worker. His father, however, was involved in a car accident and died in November 1964.
He debuted as a comedian in 1975 after he participated in a comedy night held in Royal Oak at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle, following a dare from a friend. He later got involved in stand-up comedy on late-night talk shows. He was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award and an honorary fine arts degree from Western Michigan.
He rose to fame after portraying the lead character Tim “The Tool-Man” Taylor in the ABC sitcom Home Improvement (1991-1999).
In the Disney/Pixar blockbuster Toy Story franchise, he voiced the “To infinity and beyond” character, Buzz Lightyear. Tim Allen has also appeared in films such as Tropical Snow (1988), Wild Hogs (2007), Crazy on the Outside (2010), and El Camino Christmas (2017), among others.
Aside from being a formidable actor and comedian, Tim Allen is also a car enthusiast. He competed in endurance racing in the 1990s in a co-owned car for Saleem. He also competed in the 24 Hours of Daytona.
The philanthropic TV heartthrob is also involved in activities to help curb homelessness.
Kady’s Mother
Laura Diebel was born on 12th November 1956 in the United States. She graduated from Western Michigan University in 1978 and later got married to Tim Allen. Laura initially worked as a sales manager for an interior landscape company before becoming a full-time housewife after her marriage. She actively contributed to and was the CEO of “Tim Allen Signature Tools,” a company that sells its own tools and equipment with the proceeds going to support children. After her divorce, she resumed work in the sales management field.
Family Life
Tim Allen and Laura Diebel met at Western Michigan University, both students, and started dating. Tim was, however, arrested on 2nd October 1978 in the Kalamazoo/ Battle Creek International Airport for cocaine possession. He pleaded guilty to the charges of felony drug trafficking. He got a reduced sentence of three to seven years in exchange for snitching on the drug dealers.
Laura Diebel stood by her university sweetheart through the jail sentence, and they tied the knot on 7th April 1984.
When Tim Allen got cast in the ABC sitcom Home Improvement (1991-1999), he became an absentee father and husband, leaving Laura to take care of their child alone.
They got legally separated in 1999, and their divorce was later finalized in 2003.
Allen remarried on 7th October 2006 to actress Jane Hajduk in an intimate ceremony held in Grand Lake, Colorado, after dating her for five years. They gave birth to a daughter, Elizabeth Allen Dick, in March 2009.
